Vermentino di Gallura is considered the greatest expression of Sardinian Vermentino, with influences from the granite soils and the Mistral sea winds that whip across the vineyards. Raised in stainless tanks, Surrau’s 2020 Vermentino di Gallura “Branu” smells of wild flowering herbs, sea salt, and lemon; fresh, with a lovely texture and underlying mineral notes. A wonderful seafood wine.
